Suggestion: Language System Change

I don't lyke the current language system, so I suggest a total change of it, and heeeeere it is :)

=

Firstly, since I don't know how the skill gain system works, I'll use %ages of the full skill
Also, these goes for both talking and listening

Firstly, It wont be all **********ed ; instead, the words are seperated, so:

[elf]Hello my name is Hadrian
Would appear : "***** ** **** ** ******" to a total n00b

0%-4% : Absolutly Nothing
5%: You learn some basic words, these words are filtered by the system and always shown to you: "Hello" "Bye" "Yes" "No" "Help" "(the name of the language)" "(name of race)"

10%: 50% chance of working out 1 letter word , 25% of 2 letter words , 13% chance of 3 letter words
20%: 100% for 1 letter words, 50% for 2 letter words, 25% for 3 letter words, 13% chance of 4 letter words

ect ect ect..

Basically, at 80% you can understand pretty much everything...

at 100% you can understand ANYTHING

What is a word?

A word is anything which is seperated by spaces. Mal-informed for example, is one word.

If a person squashes the words together, it'll be far harder to understand, which means that even experts might not understand; this can be Rped as fast talking.

Helpme!

What about names?

Names are also scrambled, for 2 reasons 1) Harder to program :P 2) Places/People myght have different names in different languages

Example: German: Deutchland [aargh spelling :(], Deutch
English: Germany, German
Italian: Germania, Tedesco/tedesca
Maltese: Germanja, Germaniz/Germaniza

Example(2):Name of Person

Domnic

German: Do-me`-neek
Eng: Dom-nick
Italian: Do`-me-knee-ko
Maltese: Do-minn-ku

How about "Never change a running system"?

Sorry, but I don't think we have enough capaticy to work on things with a really low urgency like this one.

Markous is right. Currently we have a very limited tech staff. Nitram is doing most of the scripting and only I am working on the server. So...no. ;)
