Trollsbane Map Problem

I'm not sure if this was intended, or what's going on, but it has been around for quite a while, and I think it needs to be addressed. It makes the entire wall/jail thing seem quite useless when there is a giant hole, yes?
One can go around the water, etc:
Go around the back of the jail, and bam, you're in town:
Can this be fixed?

At the western gatehouse, there is an area where it is possible to push yourself to completely bypass the gate:

We've known about these things ever since the tree's went up. They were fixed, but then the server reset.
I guess no-one bothered to redo it untill now. Not like the gates are ever locked anyway.

Doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed

Oh c'mon seriously how obvious could I make it that you're not meant to read it; if you still read it that's your own fault I warned you and told you exactly what the thing was, what more do you want me to do?

by Nalzaxx
I read it before you edited it. Just remove it.

No cos Arien has to see it.
Also, I doubt Nalzaxx will do such a quest anyway.
It's clearly warned and there's loads of lines in between; as soon as Arien sees it it can be annihalated.

I have other characters....
And if he needs to see it. PM it to him.

It doesn't give you 20 silvers. Also fine I'll change it to a PM, happy?

Do you really want a perfect closed Troll's Bane?
Both locations i know. But as long as noone of the goverment said something against it i do not know why to change it...

Lennier, it should either be perfectly closed, or you might as well just remove the wall entirely because then it would serve no purpose.

The word "bottleneck" never crossed your mind?
Lets see if Varshikar or Greenbriar would like to have a slightly used town wall.
Trollsbane seems not to see any use in thier wall.

If the walls are going we'll take them. We could lock them every so often just to use our keys ;]

I wasn't aware the concepts of "wall" and "gate" were so complicated

by Keikan Hiru
And the difference between "defense" and "completly open" isn't your strong point too?

by Fooser
Why would characters who have seen these holes, physically stood there and watch them exploited to harm the town, say "ok we'll leave them". Leaving them makes no sense RP-wise or for defense.

by Keikan Hiru
Never have I commented any RP, only your sentance:
"Either fix it, or remove it completly."
And you know how much I love to comment nonsense with my own nonsense.

by Fooser
And why exactly is that nonsense? What use is a wall with a hole in it? The more holes there are (3 gates + ?? ), the worse the defense is, if you wan't to argue against that, have fun. I apologize if we are looking at things from a practical and realistic view rather than some random map making one.
