Can someone explain to me exactly how this is used? I've been told if you use it four times, once every 12 hours your skill gets better, but when I use the book nothing happens! No message of any kind, and it was more like 24 hours after previous use. And I definately did use it first time with a note from a language teacher in it, and I have the language skill. Am I doing it wrong?

You practice by speaking it.

You originally learn it with a text book.

The book only works once....It will give one skillpoint the first time you use it, and after that you can use it the way you described. But, the book will only give that one skillpoint once.

Have you tried turning the page?

When I use the book (shift click it), NOTHING HAPPENS. Could it be my library research isn't high enough?

once again i ask, have you tried setting the counter for the next page and *then* reading the text?

OOps sorry, my bad. There's a counter? Silly me. How do I set this?

EDIT: Figured it out now. I never knew books worked this way. That's why the books always start at the back page for me.

ARRR its the normal counter that you use for everything.

And now I realise why I couldn't read any other books. When it said this book hasn't so many pages, I thought it was a typo for this book has so many pages. In the words of Homer DOH
