Farmer Mage?

I probably know this, but I'd like it verified: Is it possible to play a farmer/mage if the stats are just right?

Success in farming is more determined by the amount of time you can invest in it, rather than attributes. The tricky part of that combo is trying to find someone willing to teach you magic.
