when i sign on i hear music but my screen black i have win me and direct x what do i do

Uhmmm..... Well.... Read what it says on the page where you download illarion from, It Says stuff about it I think
Maybe you started it up from the wrong spot?

Have you already read the faq? There is a point what to do against a black screen. Maybe that helps.

I have experienced that, if you use an older directx version, you can have the same problem.
Update Directx, then try again.

i did download direct x agian and yes i read the faq

be mor e concrete, what operating system do you use, what hardware do you have, what internet connection?

You need:
- DirectX 7 or higher
- graphics adapter with at least 1024*768 with 16 bit color
- Windows 98 or higher
- the server must be online
- internet connection
- during a lag, it may need some time for the first picture
- all files (especialy the *.tbl files) must be in the directory with the illarion.exe
