Hallo,

wenn ich versuche den Client herunterzuladen bekomme ich diese Meldung:

Beim Starten/Ausführen der Anwendung ist ein Fehler aufgetreten.

Die Anwendung hat eine Version der Java 2-Plattform (JRE) angefordert, die zur Zeit nicht auf dem lokalen Rechner installiert ist. Java Web Start konnte die angeforderte Version nicht automatisch herunterladen und installieren. Die JRE-Version muss manuell installiert werden.

habe schon versucht Java neu zu instaliren und Upzudaten aber keine Änderung?

Irgendjemand ne Idee

Du benötigst mindestens Version 1.5 von Java um den Illarion Client zu spielen.

Java vieleicht komplett deinstallieren, und auch manuell mal suchen ob sich irgendwo noch etwas versteckt, und dann eine saubere Neuinstallation vornehmen.

Ich weiss nicht, ob die Version die wir anbieten für Apple kompatibel ist.
Wenn nicht, direkt mal bei Sun nachsehen was die im Angebot haben.

Also ich habe das selbe Problem.
Jetzt habe ich Java deinstallieren und erneut installieren, aber es klappt immer noch nicht.

Wenn ich den Illarionclient starte kommt weiterhin die Meldung.
Gibt es sonst noch ein mögliches Problem?

Vielleicht mal die aktuella Version 1.5_08 , direkt von der Javaseite installieren anstatt der Version hier auf der Seite? java.sun.com

Anyone able to tell me the jist of this thread? I have a friend trying to run illa on 10.3.9 and it's giving her issues... wondering if this is the same

Is there a Java 1.5 package available for 10.3.x anywhere? It is my understanding that Apple does all of the Java releases for OS X (instead of Sun putting packages up at java.sun.com) and they never did an official 1.5 or greater release for 10.3...?

Made it sound like someone was successful getting it running under 10.3...

I only ask because I know of someone who wishes to play but are stuck with 10.3.

The client is running on 1.4 and higher. Tried it at home.

Problem
Still cant get it running on 1.3.9

is tere a Java 1.5 for mac os 1.3.9?
