Bug when using laptops?

I'm using a laptop, and sometimes (and persistantly), when i move the mouse pointer over the text area, the text thing pops up.

If i choose "View skills" for example, the skills flash, and then it turns back to the text area.

Sometimes the counter goes bezerk, moving the mouse over the man to the side, makes it go up to 250 really quickly.

Apparently this also happens to someone else who has a laptop... any solutions?

I played illarion on a laptop once. Everything went well. Does your laptop has one of those " touch " mouses? The small square you move your finger around to control the cursor? If so, try using a mouse. I have problems using my tablet on Illarion too, the mouse plays tricks so I use a regular mouse.
Hope it helps.

that's happened to me before ( not on illarion) but I figured out, one of my other fingers was also touching the pad, and when two fingers touch it, it can go wild.

I have a l laptop and that is what I use to play. Works fine for me. If not you try getting seperate mouse. Or try the setting above.
