Orcs fit the role of a barbarian but thats my opinion orc thieves(scouts, spy, bandit) is fun to play too.

Of course those roles fit. Just because they have a more nomadic lifestyle doesn't mean they can't scout, steal and spy on people.

Nomadic does not equals loud and stupid. I'm sure an orcish hunter would have learned to be quiet.

I wouldn't immagine an orc being dexterous enough to steal something small from a person, plus they DO look a bit suspicious, so people would be on their guard. As for spying, they're too stupid to do it effectivly, they'd get caught out rather quickly IMHO

In my opinion orcs are very much like native americans. They are adept at hunting, very intimidating fighters, they use fear and sacrafices to scare their enemies and appease their gods. Childlike undeveloped mentality but with an iron will. Curious and nosey, blunt, impolite, but have been taught basic social etiquette. Clearly they have enough knowlage to perform at least basics in any craft. Stealing seems too dishonorable for an average orc I think. I think they could easily be adept in anything, not every orc has to have 19str weighing 140kg with 4 dex.

I belive in the orcish description orc would raid nearby villages. I must disagree with you Gro'bul Not just because I play an orc that is in a bandit group but as a player that has spent much time around orcs. Orcs can be exelent theives. Gort also has quite above 4 dex and he is a tailor. A decent one at that. He used to be able to make steel greaves.

Gort is a Barbaric like/bandit/craftsman. It can be done.

Thief = Sneaky agile guy (who can possibly fight with daggers) who trys to steal without being detected.

Bandit = Barbaric warrior who rather ask the victim directly for items and who might kill if needed.

Rahz is a bandit

BUT hes a lieng son of a bitch....
example..
Rahz: gimmie all joo coppers and deh weapuns or Rahz tear joo to ribbens!
man: Hey! im being robbed help!
Man2: oh my god!
Rahz runs to the shop where there are many people
Rahz: Help! two oomies are trying to rob me!!! dey gang up on meH!

So its a mixture of not being detected and bandit

An orc can be whatever, but the average orc would not make a good thief.

orcs has strenght they probally make good bandits(babaric band of thieves) because bandits don't use alot of intelligents they mostly use thier strenght to get things by force.
