Why do we have to continue to loose skill after we already die? When you die far from a cross as lots of people often do, you have to walk all the way back to one of the four crosses. Let's remember theyre all on the eastern side of the island. I don't think we need new crosses but think we should only loose skill once.

I agree. right now, if you're not a fighter, going outside troll's Bane is knocking on death's door. and if you're too far from a cross, you're pretty much screwed.

Trollsbane cross, Varshikar cross, Graveyard cross, Forest cross(Some where in the forest, still east). I know those 4.

You forgot the Greenbriar cross.

And I think they deducted from this. I had a power outage two days ago while fighting ogres and I assume I was there for awhile before getting logged out because when I logged back in I already lost everything. Flew over to the varshy cross and I only had minute skill loss compared to last time.

I am not sure what loses you skill, getting ressurected or dying or spending time as a ghost... but it is annoying as Retlak is always being killed by good chars, thanks to a multi-death bug he loses all his items, and then has to travel tripple the distance of a normal player just to get to a cross because of the trolls bane Barrier lol.

where is the Var. one in the northeast? i never found it when i died there...ended up at TB, lol
SHould be one near the silverbrand, just becuase it is a city. ALl cities should have one.

just go from the center of town down the road until you see sand on your right side and turn right. the cross isn't hidden, just not where people expect it.
