I'm got killed by a bunch of bandits up by the elven teacher, on the far north west corner of the island.

is there any cross closer than troll's bane? I would hate to lose all that skill because it's a pretty long walk.

There used to be a cross up there back in the day when mummies were tiles above trollsbane, gems were only in gem rocks, and there was no skill cap.

Ah, if only if only.

There is a yellow cross in the area. There is a house in the woods closer the elven teacher than Grey Haven. The yellow cross is right next to the house. Just beware of wolves.

The shrine in the cave beneath the castle can revive too. However it's not really that much closer.

Anyway I thought that bug was fixed so you only lose skill immediately on being clouded, and not whilst clouded.

This house is not anyone's property. It is private property. Read the signs they all say go away!

Yeah? But who guard it? Are wolves from the north or goblins from the east?

I never saw a soul set a foot there so deep, well not alive that is. And why do you want to use the cross deep in Northen Woods anyway? There are tons of creature around it, lost all of items once is not enough?

that house is owned, and protected by magic.
and the owner (or one of the owners) is pretty quick in attacking trepassers.
(one of my chars had the bad luck, to be found near that house...)

Yes, a pc owns that house. One is a legitimate pc the other is an all powerful man! :D

please? A player built in middle of the northern woods, with all its monsters, a house, is a powerful mage and attacks everyone immediately on sight who comes close that house?

mad its not your characters house?

no, but it sounds very strange o_O. players cant build in the wilderness, not aslong as it is no guild. so that just can be some quest building. but that means there cant be a normal pc. and also what a quest it is that kills those comming close the house to start thew quest *scratch head*

I dunno maybe hes just a quest character that a hermit that is living out in the woods.

Im sure the quest team has something in mind for him or nitrum wouldnt let him live.

thats not what i said.
that PO is a good roleplayer.

-----

but what i say: the cross beside this house has no practical use.
since the item-loss-bug is fixed, i take my chars to the cross in TB.
a freshly revived char has very few chances, to get out of that part of the forest, without being clouded again by NPC-monster groups.

Okay so you will stop complaining, a GM has that house with a PC. It is not allowed to go to it. The door is also locked to prevent people from going into it. There are sometimes traps near that house. Not safe for your health either that way.

Or he massed an extreme amount of money by killing skeletons all day.

Players are not allowed to build in the wilderness. Only guilds are. Or chars which are used for quests of course.

The house belongs to a Questchar.

Kallahorn has one as well, but it existed before Kallahorn existed.

These bandits appear to be above the northern woods-far North and a little West of Trollsbane.
