how much does the quality of an item mater?
Quality of a sword in battle, how much difference does it really make?
Verry Bad vs Average, Corroded vs used?
ANd on tools> if i have a bad, rusty hammer instead of a new hammer, will it make a difference?

For weapons and armor, quality as in "good" "bad" "excellent" etc. It does change efficiency, a very bad armor is not as good as an excellent armor, but the difference is not that high. Conditions, as in "corroded" "old" "new" are the durability, it dosent change the efficiency of the item bit it tells if it will last long or not.

Tools and such arent affected by this yet, I am not sure about rings and amulets.

That's bullshit. I stole an exelent double axe from grant a few days ago and it hacks up mummies with 99% fuel effeciency.

Currently, the quality of weapons has a massive impact on their use in combat. It does not matter if you wield a sabre, serinjahsword or rapier, the quality is what matters.

This impact is very, very massive. I am not sure about armor and tools and too lazy to have a look at the scripts

a very bad staff kills mummies in 5 hits or so for me..
a good staff kills them in 1 hit.

That is a small idea.
