NPC Monster Suggestion

My newest character Mortanius trains to fight at the tombs, and I notice that the mummies on the first level are very easy - with average weapons and armor, he is able to dispatch many of them without losing half of his health.

However when he reaches the second level below, it takes one or two mummies to overwhelm him in a relatively short time.

I suggest that the mummies on the second level are made slightly easier, and the mummies on the first slightly harder.

Thanks.

Edited: Made a typo, thanks N.

I assume you mean the mummies on the second level made easier?

I must stand against making the first level harder because I go there only when I need thread and if it gets harder I may not be able to handle the 3 on 1 attack from the mummies on the first level. It would make sence to make them harder for warriors but I think of myself as more of a hunter and can make money from the thead/entrails.

If this is true you can do whatever you like with the cave...but I find it highly unlikly.

I just think there needs to be a gap between mummies and skeletons. I mean I can dispatch a mummie in 1-3 hits but with a skeleton I near enough die.

Here is something no one realises:

The skeletons are the level down from the mummies, the room with 3 skeletons average: The skeletons by the ladder, is the one that people nearly die from, this uses a warhammer.
The skeletons ahead use simple swords, they are no harder than mummies, they just last longer.

A good proposal is: Make the concussive skeleton at the back of the room, and the slashing skeletons at the ladder.

The monsters will be rebalanced with the next major update of the fighting system. Might take a while.

The fighting system is being rebalanced?

Oh dear God.

Nevermind war, this is what invokes pure terror into my characters.

:P

Well if that is what scares you Nalzaxx I shall be sure to chant it whenever I see you. Then promptly fly away so you can't get me, chanting the entire time. Or maybe a defence for trolls bane. Have a mage create a spell that chants that. Or we can just have everyone in town chant it. :D...

Mind that would never happen because it bad RP. Tell us something that scare you IG!

Can we have a rough unsarcastic(Yes I'm talking to you Nitram) idea of when the next fighting update will be? I currently dislike the present one only because it seems unbalanced in some ways.

BTW did the npc bow glitch ever get fixed?

I guess it might help if you name these ways. But keep in mind, you have to seperate some things:

-Weapons / armor
-Monsters
-The system itself

"I dislike the current fighting system because mummies are too strong / flies fly too fast / a serinjahsword does more damage than a sabre / a warhammer has a range of 2 while a club does not" are points that are rather independent (well, not really, but almost) from the fighting system itself.

Some things I have:

-Chars with high parry get hit too seldom
-Parry seems to have no effect on the dealt damage
-Quality affects the use of items way too much
-The system favors stats over random (predictable fights)

I like the quallity system as is.

It really makes it worth it to go out and find a smith willing to make the best.

Or just finding the right GM that will give you Ecx/Brand new drow/salk armor.
