Dwarves repelled

It is the second time that roleplay, started by Stephen Rothman has lead to severe disturbance of the roleplay of others.

I talk about the spoiled tavern party back in time.

I do not want to start a flame war like Patric did last time (he probably will this time aswell as soon as he's back and knows what happened to Ghorns town) but I want to point out that there were a full of 7 to 9 dwarves present on the evening of the announced mass.

I tried hard to create an event not centered around Trollsbane and what do I get?

All of these dwarves are attacked and some slaughtered in the halls of Silverbrand by stephen and his crew.

I do not ask for valid rp reasons but for one thing, courtesy to other peoples roleplay.

I am fairly sure you have driven many po's that were about to restart their dwarven characters, because it seemed that silverbrand would turn to life, away for good, because they got attacked for being there.

Furthermore it's starting to get BS that Stephen moans everytime about dwarves not being helpful and inactive all the time. Thats no RP reason, that's a reason of players and the will of players to play dwarves, and those few that play dwarves shouldnt be punished for those that let dwarves slip into inactivity AGAIN AND AGAIN.

You already tried to snatch silberbrand because of tialdins inactivity, and now you want to seize it once more because we "never helped in any conflict"?

Why dont you start picking on the elves aswell? They got a whole island.. and are inactive as hell, and not even trying to change that.

OH WAIT!

They do not have a mine and resources as the dwarves do.

I'm royally pissed about this, nothing more to add.

They will, it just hasn't gotten that far. I am sure elves are soon on their list.

Do not grow upset. Thing happen with my roleplay that I do not wish to happen. Things happen that I want to happen that don't. This will pass as everything else does and RP WILL go on.

Another Problem:

today i worked from 7:00 to 18:45 and was happy to be at home on 19:10.
I started to play illarion for the first time since more than two weeks - i havent so much time.
I prepared the mass and the prayers and i had to change them, because they were another peoples there and not only dwarfes.

I was waiting in the temple and didnt know, that there were a fight. We havent a cross so that all ones, who died have to go a long way...

I was really pissed off and and solely the fact that many tried to convince me and the time the server was down kept me away from deleting my account.

I havent enough time for such crap.

There is no such thing as truly disruptive RP. Things don't go as you expected?

You go with it.

Its a slight ic subject, there was no planned attack in the moment of the mass, it happened randomly at this moment, all starting because of the bandits coming at first, and Stephen getting mad and getting beaten by them, nothing of this was meant to be, it happened, and the rest followed, end.

Tough shit, your characters constantly insulted and tried to undermine Stephen. Your characters are weak. Stephen is strong. What do you think was going to happen?
Deal with it, either train your characters up and beat Stephen or get used to the fact you cant talk shit to a dictator when you can't back it up. Don't try to get this overruled by a GM. God knows that has been plenty of times in the past.

And I will not respond further and I ask ALL members of Stephen's party not to respond at all to these stupid and wasted OOC Flame Wars.

Heh.

The reason why no one fights back is because no one can beat half the playerbase.

Galthor is the only man with the balls to do something like he does, and accualy get somewhere with it.

Props to him.

And more on topicl;

This is very uncalled for. You are pissed you lost your precious IG land. The roleplay was perfectly acceptable and well done. If you have problems with bad things that happen to your character, I reccomend you leave the online world instead of bashing other players in a very unrespectable OOC approach.

His ingame actions are not to be blamed for the creation of new characters and the ruination of old. Its the players inability to deal with his actions.

RP emulates life, and life will always throw curveballs. Unexpected RP doesn't mean bad rp.

i dont want to start a flame war. But i talked to you asking to NOT interrupt ingame events without asking ooc for it. I have learned now my lection. I will only get on, if i know, that in your time it is 3:00 am.

So you tried to disrupt his RP by restricting it? Now you are angry he disrupts yours?

Karl, you make a very good point. Have I pointed out yet that things can't always go your way?

This was pointed out to me a long time ago.

Very important RP lesson.

As well, I'd be hard pressed to hold a prayer for Moshran without some interruption. I guess I can rest assured that next time I do, I won't expect a hassle from certain players.

i dont disrupt his ones, but if a po has planned a quest its normal politly to not dirupt it. He can play, in every place he wants.

it remeans on the tavern issue:
Jon Childs hat folgendes geschrieben::
Can you stop having a period over it? Seriously.... You was ruining our fun by making us pay to enter the tavern....So we ruined yours.

And now a few words:

I dont have time for such crap. I was near to dont play this game evermore. I know enough good players, that left illarion for this and i understand it.

I dont have the time to wait, that you grow up.

The next time i quit.

You asked him not to interrupt an RP session, which inherently hinders his RP and therefore you are disrupting his.

I'll stop this.
