After building the a fire and settting up a comfortable place for her sister to sit, Irania finds herself the one waiting this time. Now I guess she can't say anything... The woman chuckles to herself lightly. It was time Irania spoke with Quinasa about her distance. It seemed her sister had cut herself off from all life other than she and Aristeaus lately. She had an incling as to what the reason was but she didn't want to make assumptions. It was time to get down to the bottom of it.
"If she doesn't hurry up i'll have to just forget about cooking ham and just put out fish instead." Irania's lips curl into a small smile. Of course that would get on Quin's last nerve. After all, she knew more than anyone of the elfesses hatred for fish.

Quinasa was toiling in the fields, on her knees tending to seedlings by the light of a small fire in the darkness. Her hands and skirt were dirty with potting soil as she wiped her hands again on her legs. She wiped her forhead with the back of her hand leaving a light smear of soil unnoticed. As she drew long straw out of the leather pouch at her waist she laid it on top of the freshly tended crops in hopes that the odd weather wouldn't harm them again before she got back.
Before she got back. She was late. She let go all tenderness and hastily set down the rest of the hay. She stood and tiptoed back to the grass, wiping her hands on the small apron and pulling it off as she went inside. She dropped the dirty apron on the table, grabbed her cloak off a hook inside the door and fastened it around her neck as she took off barefoot along the road north. When the road came close to the river she stooped to wash her hands before making her way north again. She didn't have to make it to TrollsBane, just to the campsite. The elfess was relieved to see the light of a campfire burning through the trees. She walked deliberately slower to calm her racing heart, but she knew it was useless. Irania could always see right through anything Quin might put up as a defense, but walking slower made her feel a little more level headed.
As she came into the light of the fire she saw that everything was set up. She smiled at her sister, half astonished.
"Irania Beothach, this has to be the first time you have ever not been late in all the years I've known you." Something in the human woman's manner as she sat there made Quin think that she might be walking into more than their routine slumber party, but she let Irania go about it her own way. She had nothing to hide from her sister. Quinasa took her seat and made herself comfortable. "What did you bring to eat?"

Irania shoots her sister a sly smile as she listens to her words. There she was, trying to seem level-headed again. It took all she had not to roll her eyes at the fact that she could see right through her.
"Ham, bananas, and pie. In that order." Again her lips curl into a smile. "Now get comfortable. We need to talk of things." Once more she shoots her another smile, this time reassuring. Still, the tone is her voice of serious and firm.
