The banning of Silas Farron

by Arameh
Silas Farron is banned from trollsbane for 6 days for the constant using of the "wind" spell in town, and very impolite behaviour with many persons. Also, the use of very offensive spells used agaisnt Laviath Rathor.
I would like to add that the wind spell is only to be used in extreme or dangerous situations, using it freely for his own fun is a great lack of manners and should never be done.

Arameh, thank you, but I please you to redo that ban. Silas is a strong mage and he helps the town againced the cultists and everything. The spells he used were againced me, just as the arguement. It is a thing between him and me and the town shouldn't feel his anger for that. I will clear that thing with him, alone.

I understand your concern Laviath, but he has broken rules, so it is not only a matter of "you and him", the use of offensive spells is stricktly forbidden, it could have hurt someone else in the way. It is a matter of the town and its rules, whoever does it, it is agaisnt the law and is a matter of the town. If he has the manners and intellect that he is supposed to need to be a mage, I doubt the town will "feel his anger" as mentionned, I hope he will understand his mistakes and make up with the small punishment he was given.
Another parchment has been added
To stop helping the town because you have had a punishment only shows your childishness Silas, and your egocentricity.

Mister Arameh, the use of an offensive spell happened AFTER Mister Rathor threw an explosive and burning bottle at him, which set him at fire and hurt also Mister Messerzunge who was sitting beside him. It was an act of defense after Mister Rathor attacked him with a damaging force. It was an unjustified and forbidden reaction on non damaginc windpells.

Lady Meryadeles, Mister Farron used a windspell againced me, two times, only for having fun. The only thing I did was offering Cider for free. And I wasn't the only one, gettin harmed by him. He attacked my apprentice Taliss, too. And the bomb I threw, was my failure. I wanted to throw a smokebomb on him, for a warning, but it seems like I did something wrong with the mixture, so that the bomb did a great explosion.

Guir, Gryphius and I have tried to drag you away - Silas has warning you three times !!!!!
It was an act of the defence.
And before we had talk private and asked you to leave us alone.

Even then, I say let Silas die in a prison, just banning him isn't good enough.

Mh. A Druid committing such deeds? That's a disgrace to us all, not to mention a breaking of the codex.

Offencive spells INCLUDE wind spells for they can throw a person, and others about that person. Should Silas Farron feel he is being attacked, i presume aramah was right there, he SHOULD have told arameh or any othere guard or knight about the attack, and there for it would have been handled acrodingly, and it would be Rathor, not Silas who would have been punished. The moment you take the laws into your own hands and attack someone with a guard present, that will be considered an act of violence, ignorance of the town laws is no excuse. And im sure you know the laws, they hold no if then situations, with the eception of a guard not being present to aid you if you are attacked.

Silas's ban has no ground. As he was attacked first, the Citizen has the right to respond with the necisary force. I find this a direct attack against the victim Silas. This is why Captain and I did not want Knights being able to ban. The Ban will no longer stand nor will i care to enforce it. The high and mighty Knight shows his true colors. I left the Guard because of this blasphemy against the Guard and town the Captain and I wished to create. A safe and friendly community, and all thats happened is the Knights have pissed on it's new grave.

Arameh was not present for the first part of this altercation. Laviath came running to him outside the shop after the wind spell was used.
I say this as defense for neither party in particular; except to say that if a person cannot defend themselves when there *is not* a guard or knight present, this is surely a poor place to live.

You should make clear to whom you address such things, good Taylor. Was that to me or to Rankor?

That will not help you in any way getting rid of all the corruption you see, nor' can you do anything about it once more, so keep your mouth shut and be glad that the knights don't chop you down to the cross for treason. A ban does nothing, quite evident.

Concerning the fact that Arameh is holding a blackstone of the temple in his chest and could be controlled by the dark forces he shouldn't be allowed to do anything inside this town!

Rankor, just shut the hell up and stay out of town instead of keep sneaking to the town board.
You are banned from town as well. And what did you do today? Coming back inside and choping a man down with your axe.
Stop like pretending you have anything like honour in your veins or you actually know something like justice.

Silas first used a windspell againced me, when I was offering around Cider. He didn't warn me or anthing, he just put out his hand and blew me up. Then, when I was sitting outside the tavern, Meriel came out and blew me up, too, while she walked by. I got blown into the tavern again and Silas put out his hand and blew me up AGAIN. Then I walked off to tell Arameh the hole thing. Arameh and I went to the tavern and Silas slandert me, again. This time, when he raised his hand for using a spell, I rolled aside, quick and threw a potion on him, I made some minutes before. The potion I tried to make was kinda "smokebomb", but I did something wrong and the potion set Silas on fire. Then Silas attacked me with a ice-cube. Lady Meryadeles healed me and told us both to stop. But when she was gone, Silas started to abuse everyone, again. He even shouted on my apprentice, Taliss, altough he did nothing. I went to Silas and told him to stop. I grabbed his collar and looked squarely into his eyes. He counted from 3 to 0 and attacked me again. He used four icecubes, then Arameh smacked him down. That is, how it happend.

Your all children. When the town must be united you all show your true colors. I am disgusted with all of you. I will march into Negros' lands alone and settle this problem as it is clear to me NONE of you can approach any situation without letting politics effect your stands on anything. Those whom will do anything to see me overthrown will argue in any situation to gain more support; and those whom do wish to see the laws kept and upheld make bans at questionable times; and those whom think they can get away with such actions because I am in need of them. Even those who have called for us all to be united are taking sides, and are not being the mature beings you should be by just calling for a truce between the two parties. You all sicken me. Brother Markous was right when he told me Trolls Bane was a lost city of sin and selfishness.
Stephen Rothman
*more is written*
It simply sickens me, you are all fakes. You all saw Markous slain and his followers all murdered, gutted, burned, tortured and you all put on faces of greif and sorrow, but now it is a new day and you all forget. None of you learned a damn thing, none of you cared for his death. He was a Saint, the only Saint left on this island of sex, murder, money and selfishness; he was the last one to be selfless! And it means nothing to you that the last pure person on this island is taken.
I will meet Negros in battle because I have changed. I will not let Markous' death be forgotten, or ignored. Nor will I let Negros think he can get away with such a murder and not reap the pain he has sown.
By all means continue, argue amongst yourself. Continue to tell yourself you are the righteous ones, you are the saviors and you are the ones whom are right. Because being right means so damn much to all of you, you will argue with the bravest Knight in the land and accuse him of being a traitor; because being powerful means so much you will cast wind spells and bully others because you think you are safe.

Yes, yes, Selfishness, sex and money you of all should know about, Stephen Rothman.. Do not worry though, all beings will feel the pain in time. It is just a matter of time...

Unfortunately, you still seem not understood to have Governor.
Do you want to spill blood really uselessly? And you become this. Your arrogance will demand lives I you should finally not accept reason and these accept an Alliance support to kill Negros. This is the last time that me to appeal you ----
And still I say the following to the Ban of Silas Farron:
Also Meriel Pellith used wind spells against Mr. Rathor. Why has he not shown her at Arameh?
From a pure vindictiveness and because he hates Silas Farron.
This play has to be pursued unworthily.

Well from witness accounts it appears that the ban is ridiculous and should be lifted.

I would like to know why you think the High Knight of the Trolls Bane knighthood does not have the power to ban.

Because the Knighthood is not the Guard.

That is of course blatantly obvious, however if you take a look at the town charter you will find both the Magistrate and myself have agreed and given more power to both the Town Guard and the Knighthood. I am pleased to have solved this problem with you.

I will not recognize any ban done by the Knighthood or you. Only by Revlen or a Full guard, which seems you have none, So i guess only those done by Revlen.
