After 2 new comps, about 3-4 hard drive wipes, I dont even try anymore. I knew Azuros as the "1337" elf for the longest time, because his char name started with 1337 lol

How do you lose them? I mean the hard-disk doesn't crash by it self. Run Spy Sweeper, Antivirus, have a firewall, run disk-defragmenter, disk-cleaner... It wont crash.

Oh sure
Anyway I always save my name file if I am gonna lose it, it takes nearly no space, you can easily email it to yourself and have it permanently..I really dont know why tons of peoples dont do that..Losing names must be a pain in the ass.

Same. After you play a while they kind of get stuck in your head.

With my constant changes between laptop and PC and my previous attempts at getting the old client to work, I've lost my name data 17 times XD. Should stop now. Got it working on my PC by formatting it then installing the graphics drivers you get with Unreal Tournament 2003. Good old UT; it never lets you down.
