Umm i was just curious about this, I know this is to stop powerleveling probably, but I didnt chop but 6 or 5 trees down. Ok maybe that is a lot of chopping but I could mine all day and not be effected by this. Is it because I was chopping trees down late at night or just raised too many woodchopping skill.

Thats the experience cap. Its a cap on all exp, not just what you learn in a certain skill. If you go up in smithing, mining, farming, glassblowing, ancient language, and parry it all counts together. Skills don't have separate caps. It has nothing to do with the time of day, just how fast you're learning.
