I think it would be also important to clarify how the tax later will look like. If there is one.

You are right Lady Cad'ell, after the tavern is purchased, the owner will have a 3 month time where he or she does not need to pay a tax. After that time, the owner will be taxed once a month, at least 100 copper coins. As always, all coins collected go to future building projects and funding the military and maintaining a well supplied armoury.

Gwendolin frowned slightly about the message that has been written below hers. Thoughtfully she strokes through her hair and writes one more thing underneath her words:
Secondly, I would like to know who would recieve the silver of the auction. Since the tavern seems to be the propery of Silverbrand.

Mmh, the tavern is no longer owned by Silverbrand. After the head tenant Gloin decided to begin attacking people and waging a war in Trolls Bane, along with Silverbrand not handing him over so he may punished for his crimes, they have forfeited their right to own a building in the lands of Trolls bane. They also neglected all taxes offered to them, they refused to pay the past 10 taxes. I won't let this parchment turn into an arguement, the tavern will be auctioned at said time til Silverbrand does what has been asked of them.

Errm, Mr. Rothman:
The tavern is no property of Gloin or the King. Its property of Tialdin, the elderking. In this case you are punishing the false one.
If you make an auction you will deal ill.

Silverbrand already tried to start a war over the fact that their tavern was on Trollsbane land, and also refused to pay a tax. It's only fair. They forfeited any ownership when they attacked people for it.
And Tialdin does nothing to stop it, and probably supports these petty dwarves.
