Violent Goblins

Beware, townsfolk! Do not wander too far north of Trollsbane, past the Grey Haven and the Throne of Irmorom! In my wandering this day, I have found myself staring at a rather large encampment of goblins, stationed on a peninsula in the Orcen Bay.
Below is an old map of Gobiath. A dripping circle of ink is drawn around a peninsula:

When confronting the goblins cautiously and slowly, I found them to be quite violent! They charged at me and I had no other option but to flee. Only by retreating to thin passes carved into the mountains to the far south was I able to escape from the creatures. I barely escaped with my life; something simply must be done!
I propose sending the most intellectually skilled goblin (one very skilled in their native tongue and in relations) of our society, as well as trained warriors (should worse come to worse) to this encampment. The warriors should stay out of sight, preparing for violent reactions, while our goblin tries to speak and delegate with the tribe. Should they simply attack again, the goblin shall run and the warriors will charge forth to defend him/her. If we are unable to make peaceful terms with these goblins, even via members of their own race, I suggest that the isle is to be cleansed of them. They are only a short walk north of the Grey Rose castle; who knows how long it may be before they commence an attack? These violent creatures must be calmed or destroyed. There is no third option.
