Violent Goblins

Beware, townsfolk! Do not wander too far north of Trollsbane, past the Grey Haven and the Throne of Irmorom! In my wandering this day, I have found myself staring at a rather large encampment of goblins, stationed on a peninsula in the Orcen Bay.
Below is an old map of Gobiath. A dripping circle of ink is drawn around a peninsula:

When confronting the goblins cautiously and slowly, I found them to be quite violent! They charged at me and I had no other option but to flee. Only by retreating to thin passes carved into the mountains to the far south was I able to escape from the creatures. I barely escaped with my life; something simply must be done!

I propose sending the most intellectually skilled goblin (one very skilled in their native tongue and in relations) of our society, as well as trained warriors (should worse come to worse) to this encampment. The warriors should stay out of sight, preparing for violent reactions, while our goblin tries to speak and delegate with the tribe. Should they simply attack again, the goblin shall run and the warriors will charge forth to defend him/her. If we are unable to make peaceful terms with these goblins, even via members of their own race, I suggest that the isle is to be cleansed of them. They are only a short walk north of the Grey Rose castle; who knows how long it may be before they commence an attack? These violent creatures must be calmed or destroyed. There is no third option.

I ran into these along my journey as well and barely fled the area.

Where are they in relation to often-visited areas such as the crypt and/or coal mine? People need to know so as not to stumble upon the camp.

Calm down? There is a horde of goblins less than an hour from your walls and you are going to ignore them? These things are savage and as their numbers grow they will want MORE land! They'll invade ours unless we do something about them.

On the map, the small valley between the Northern woods and the Throne of Irmorom, just barely north of the Grey Haven, is the crypt. As you can see, it is but a stone's throw away. The presence of these goblins threatens our main supply of entrails, which means our main supply of thread. We cannot risk the loss of such a material; we will lose the few tailors we have. Should these goblins multiply, the economy will take a heavy blow.

Thank you, Gabon, for keeping an eye on this situation. If I was anything of a fighter, I would do the same.

That is there land, they have been there for many months. I do not see why we need to kill them off. They have never moved from their own island, they are simply territorial. I don't advise anyone to go out of their way to fight them as they are a strong tribe.
However as I have written, they have been there for many months and have made no moves to spread their lands further. There are also goblins located in the Northern Forest.
