Question about Fighting

Are other creatures like deer and rabbits considered to be "more difficult" opponents than pigs? I know they don't fight back anymore than pigs do, but I mean in terms of gaining skill by fighting them.
To explain... once you get to the point where pigs are no longer giving you skill-gain, but you're still not quite ready for the crypt, should you move up to rabbits and deer? Or are they considered just as weak as pigs and would do you no good?

When you're past the pigs, you're about good enough for mummies, though it might be good to go with someone else until you learn some parry.
Also, the flies are a bit weaker than mummies.

Mummies are okay, but I haven't seen a "blue swirl" with my character in about a week or so...I think he maxed out his learning ability with the mummies somewhere in the bright-green range.
So, yeah...your best bet would be to pay a player-character in copper to help you out.

or you know just get a friend, mummy fighters aren't hard to find, just ask any human man.

Well if you have the right armor and weapons then yes. But i would reccomand that you train on pigs for alittle longer and get money from the pork and leather so you can stock up on weapons and armor.

I would wait for a good solid torquoise, leaning more towards green, and even then go as I said with a more experienced fighter.
