Japanese Names and Accents for an Illarion Character

I thought of a character I could play. She'd have a Japanese name, look Japanese, and have a Japanese accent (L=R, R=L). If I was allowed to play a human like that, would the name Kiyomi Sakamoto be allowed, and would it be allowed to say she is from an "eastern country" ? I think it would make for interesting, if not weird roleplay.

Theres a Mai Ling in game, by all appearances she's asian. I don't see why not.

But for all I care she could have also come from a western country ingame, since it has not been determined how people look on either side of Gobaith.

Where even IS Gobaith geographically compared to the rest of the continent?
IE Albar, Salkamaeria etc etc

Go for it. Nobody's ever had problems with Asian culture being implemented before.

According to Damien there are no explored lands beyond the eastern borders of his worldmap. The people who are closest to being asian and have a certain asian appearance are the Serinjah, which I guess could be compared with Mongolians.

Okay, so Asian characters are okay then...
Wait...maybe Gobiath is the eastmost nation, and the character is from a western nation...Or am I being an idiot again?
