Does anyone know what the stat willpower affects IG that is already implemented?

Being a bard, it's my highest stat. I assume it will be used with melodies if/when that is implemented. I am just curious if it helps me with anything now.

Has your bard also essence? Essence means the aura. his charm. That special light at someone. A bard should have that to impress the peoples, also it is a sign of being able to be charming, with music, dance, etc.

I don't know any other use of willpower than for magic purposes. technical. of course there are many from rp view ;)

I'm certain willpower will be the most important stat for bardic magic which is, I hope, on the way.
You are always in the center when you enter a room, your charismatic way of speaking allows you to influence the opinions of others with much ease.
From this description of a character with high willpower, I assume charisma and willpower are similiar attributes.

Korwin is right. You dont have to look good but you must know, how to manipulate the people around you.

I just took the bardic skill set without any adjustments. I ended up with willpower being the highest. Which actually works for how I have designed my character.

And yes, this also gave me essence as well. It is my second highest.

Thank you for your answers. I figured there wasn't TOO much use for it right now. Magic resistance might be somewhat useful, although Mah'dee is not one to pick a fight.

Usefull isn't quite the main concern. The main concern is making a unique character.

I agree. And if it was I would not have made a bard character.

Essence is more an indicator for the soul, the life force, isn't it?

So it should be important for mages and mage resistance, but not so important for bards.

Illarion's willpower seems to be a mix from traditional RPG attributes "willpower" and "charisma".
