What is the story behind the northern castle? Who owns it? Does anyone have keys to the locked portions?

It belongs to the Grey Rose and they have the keys. You can only join if you know the old language. This question should be asked IG.

The "Grey Light" and the "old Path of the Magic" live there too. But yes, look around ingame to ask people there
