I had a battle staff on my character, and it broke after long use. But when it disappeared, the "occupied" icon in my left hand did not.
I have tried other tricks suggested by others, but the icon is still there.

I have tried to equip numerous other 1 and 2-handed tools and weapons but it is still there. I can equip 1-handed items but the icon is still there when I remove it.

I have equipped another weapon (1-handed) and worn it out (disappearing), but the icon is still there.

Dragging the icon around does not help.

I asked a Gm, but he/she suggested i posted a message here.


I have yet one trick I am going to try. Another bug I think, but the times I have used the spinning wheel in Eliza's shop in Troll's bane, I have always lost one of my tools. The right-hand tool I think, but I can't say for sure.

If this does not work, I am at the mercy of other members of the staff

Well just incase this happens to someone again here's how you fix that.
Use the icon on something
