((A small piece of rp for you all, based on Ules' past. This is limited open rp, in that anyone who enevr decided on a past could originate around where Ules did, and as logn as they dont contradict anything that i've rp'd, could influence the storyline, as i dont have it set in stone what exactly happened here.))
Talking to brer about cliu recently had him thinking. Not just about cliu's death, but moreso deaths of people a bit closer. His parents. He thought about them on and off, every now and again, wondering how things could be different if they were still around, or if he could have prevented the death. But most of all, he thinks about how it happened to begin with

It was a sunny day, and Ules was busy reading a book on different magical theories, excited because his parents were to teach him how to combine two local runes he had learned recently, to create a fireball, and perhaps teach him another couple of runes so that he could heal. A swelling feeling of joy swept throughout his body, as he was finally going to be able to continue what his parents had been doing.
He then reached a very interesting chapter in the book, that talked about how though magic is usually channeled from around the caster, it sometime can originate inside them, causing strange effects and sometimes the ability to learn multiple sets of local runes, when most people had come to say that one could only learn universal runes and one set of localized runes. Ules, being a boy of about 14 or so at the time, pondered about this, knowing his parents had always said that their family line was special with regard to magic. Perhaps this was what they meant. he quickly got up to go ask them about it.
His parents were currently busy healing someone. Ules, not having been seen by his parents yet, looked over to see who it was. It seemed to be a young woman, who had several large gashes and cuts on her, and some bruises on her face. The elder Felkos were casting a continuous spell, which was slowly closing the deep, still bleeding wounds, but being as harsh as they were, it was taking some time. Ules knew it would be best to wait until they were done, so he sat down.
