To those who would like ta know:

I've been away from meh natural home for some time now. I don' know how many o' ye know wha' happened, but I were exiled from meh home long ago. An' now I'm on a journey to go back and gain meh families approval again. I hope to return, but it is a long journey and I will not return until I get meh family back! I'll miss some o' ye an' ye know who ye are, bu' I have ta go an' do this. I will write back with doves on meh journeys.

Sorry lads fer takin' so much time ta send ye all an update. I' just goes ta show all of ye tha' ye have ta be careful when tryin' ta save a few coppers. I got aboard meh ship an' foun' out tha' there weren' no doves aboard! Blast tha' ship! I ain' gonna waste time complainin', bu' tha' were jus' a terrible time. Anyhow, I've arrived an' will start on the long journey inta the mountains o' meh home. The land be full o' doves, so I'll be sendin' letters back ta let ye all know tha' I still be alive an' all. If there be important news, the doves I send should be able ta make it back here if given a note.
