The following is written with a neat hand, slanted to the right, and written in a rudementry, and probably self made ink.

To Those who care enough to Read this Sheet of parchment, I thank you. You show more care and compassion than most. But I doubt this parchment pertains to the majority of the general public, If it does not, Do not be alarmed.

Mercenaries of this Isle,

I have noticed for quite some time that we wander apart from eachother. I have heard many say it is the sparcity of money. But i find this a false fact. Sure a Mercenary works for money, but a mercenary works for money because of the love to fight. One who loves to smith wouldn't be caught dead sewing would he? So this is my call:

Let us band together, in a band of brother and sisters. This is by no means to be a killing squad, this is a call to form a brotherhood no Knight could comprehend. As it is now, we make little to no money at all. But if we band together, Be a unit, we have the voice, and the power to be a formidable opponent. There is strength in numbers. The Knights know it, the Orcs know it. So why have we not done so ourselves?

I call for all able bodied Mercenary alike, to realise, to comprehend, that on your own, you are vulnerable. but together we cover our weaknesses. I may not be a big name among the mercenaries. But i see no effort to get hired. We merely walk around hoping someone will buy our services. Band together my fellow Brethren, And we may get more jobs due to our newly aquired force and voice. All i ask is that we try to unite under one Banner. If it doesn't work, by all means split back to a lone mercenary that you once were.

So ends my humble request for this moment

To your brethren, be loyal, Be honest, and be kind.

Young lad, the mercenarys are a dieing kind. We few who remain are not a formidable force in the least. Mercenarys tend to keep a distance betwix one another for employers are few and far in between. I understand what it is you are trying to do lad, but i must warn that few will heed this call. You are young yet and there is still time for you to go into another profesion, as for old dogs like me, old habits die hard.

The town guards armour, weapons, potions and training is provided entirely free. IF you take for granted what you are given (on top of your soon to be monthly paycheck) then perhaps you should find a new job. Especially if you feel so poorly about your standing Governor.
