Please report: Monsterdrop

Please report the following things:

-Items that are dropped but useless
-Items that are dropped in amounts greater than 1 AND are not coins, arrows, that stuff
-Monsters that drop things they are not supposed to drop (e.g. a cow drops a sword)
-Monsters that drop nothing at all (except mudane animals)

I am aware that currently monsters either drop twice as much as they are supposed to or nothing at all, but this might be fixed soon.

I cannot read german so I may be redundant, but zombies drop parchment and black clothe.

This seems a bit odd to me.

Those are the mummies bandages, Lennier said above.

Pigs drop 2 pork and 2 normal (not raw) leather.

PS: Why do bunnies have Character-IDs?

Because some GM-Chars look like bunnies ;)

Bunny with Number = pwnz0r Bunny

Deer with Number = pretty Bunny ( ;) )

Thanks, just the kind of information I need.

The balance of the fighting system is another issue, you should compete with a demon - one of them pwned two uber powered GM chars with cheatorz-weapons without even getting a scratch. One of those could eradicate the whole population of Illarion within some minutes.

But let's go on with the stuff monsters drop for this can be changed in some minutes. Also, please tell me if you encounter monsters that drop "unfair" loot, like a mummy dropping tons of gems or a demon dropping crap.

With help of a woman, I managed to kill an extremly strong bandit and it dropped a strong healing, my stolen coins, silver coins, and golden coins. The stronghealing potion and stolen coins it dropped were picked up and usefull, but the silver and gold were physicly there, but when attempted to be picked up didn't appear in my belt.

What the hell!
Are you talking about real gold coins? Bandits are not supposed to drop those - did they steal them from you?

Goblin warriors at the old bandit camp drop nothing at all. After killing about 15 of those buggers, they aren't too hard but they don't have bad defense, I got nothing. Gobbo archers work fine though.

They drop them

But while trying to collect them and you place them in your belt, they vanish.

I was carrying 5 hams, 20 coins. Two bandits were beating the crap out of me so I fled. They took 17 -bronze- coins from me.

When he died, he dropped the following objects in order of stacking:
Strong Healingpotion
17 Bronze Coins (mine)
(?) Silver Coins (Disapeared)
(?) Gold Coins (Disapeared)

I saw a graphic of a bronze like coin, but it was darker and well.. more golden.

I hope I helped :)

Not about moster drops, but i think its the new script

Either the waraxe is a one-hander now, or the (\) isn't showing on the other hand...

Would you rather have some useless uncookable deer meat instead? Because its available, I guess we figure wait till after people can cook it to let deers drop deer meat, rabbits rabbit meat, ect.
Xalliar wrote:The trolls don't drop anything. not even their maces.
Things don't drop what they wear and attack with any longer, if they do its only because its also in the loot script.

war axes are entirely useless, stephen fought a mummy for about 4 minutes with one and did not hit it once. Stephen is very highly skilled in slash mind you.

I guess you'd prefer to keep getting crappy loot then? This way, we got harder monsters but not 1-hit kill monsters because their armor and weapon are too good. This way people don't write powerful undead off as a nuisance. Also, rare drops pwn.

Unless it was reported in german, this is a new one:

Mummies drop plates (for food, not armour ) occasionally.

Is that bad? Sure, mummies don't eat alot. I thought about typical burial objects and came up with the idea that many cultures used to place food in graves in case the body needs this in the afterlife or... erm... was buried alife.

It is hard to find suiting non-weapon-non-armor-stuff for all monsters. In addition, only every 100th mummy drops a plate afaik.

Question: What do you think about the amount of copper coins dropped by monsters? Too many? Not enough?

Never had any copper drop so I don't know.
