That's what happens to me when I try to log in with the new client. I use a Intel Graphics Card. Any help? I really want to start playing Illarion again. :(

System Specs:

254 RAM
Dell Dimension 3000
Intel P4 CPU 2.8 GHz
Intel 82865G Graphics Controller

Try again, it should work. It happens sometimes. It'll just say outdated client, then work again.

Strangely, i think intel is the problem. My pc is intel, and to make the new client work i needed to change the whole motherboard, or it woulnt work. Urilen Quanasuard and Siegfried Schtauffen have intel, it dosent work, i just thought about that if it can help.

I've tried it for about 4 or 5 times. Still no dice.

But I don't want to change my motherboard! I'll just wait for more replys. :)

hmm, might be the gfx thing. Get something cheap, like a Geforce FX5200, that should be fine for the new client

When my new client wasnt working, i bought a new graphic card, and it still wasnt working. For me, it only worked after i change the motherboard, its not the graphic card, im sure yours is more than strong enought for the game, before buying anything i would inform myself more.

The thing is, I'm almost certain you have on-board graphics. Nvidia or ATI cards are the most reliable for compatability, choose one of those. What other games can you play? Have you downloaded the latest drivers? I am a graphics dev for illa, and I've never owned a computer without a graphics card. I don't know how anyone gets by without one. :D

I'll try with the drivers, but yes, I can run almost any other MMORPG not perfectly, but good. I'll try to get a graphics card. You know any REALLY cheap ones?

I have a graphics card, BTW.

If you just maybe gave your computer a back rub. A romantic candlelit dinner for two. Hell, just remind it once a day how special it is and how much you truly love it, then myabe the computer would be more faithful to you.

It's all about love.

Please check out the "The client runs for" thread.

There's one player who got your configuration to work for her.

Josephine | Celeron 2GHz 248 Mb | Intel 82845G | Driver 6.13.1.3264, reduced graphics, 10 frames

Do you have that driver version?

I really don't think so. Any place where I can download it, and/or how to change the configs?

That was from the heart, Arkadia.
