Is it because courage isn't natural?
When the body experiences a little, sudden jolt
it cries out through pain, awakening you to the
absurdity of your actions...

"Take your hand off the stove right now! It's f*ing hot!"
the body say.
Perhaps the body cries out with fear, because just as life is pain---
the universe is terrifying.
Cold, vast, the universe harbors inside of its every single molecule
the desire to feed.
And galaxies feed on stars and stars feed on scraps, and god...
god is in every single scrap.
Feeding on himself.

Um, no. We fear because fear keeps us alive. If we avoid whatever is dangerous out of fear then it stops us from becoming dead.
