Hey everyone, first timer here. I'm really looking forward to playing this awesome game. However, when I try to log on it says "old client version." I know I have the current client.... can anyone help?

Ignore it and try to log on again.

I'm sorry to be so annoying, but it's still not working. I'm gonna go cry now.

The Java Client sometimes gets this message instead of a time out message.
Your client takes too long to load and the game server gets impatient with your client and boots you.
Unfortunatly you get this missleading error in this case.

Head over to the tech board, there is a whole topic regarding this case and maybe ways to solve your problem.

OK OK, so I downloaded the actual old client and it works fine. Now I have another question. I have to rest, but I dont know where or how. Please help.

You rest by not doing any skill related work, no fighting, no crafting, no herb picking, etc...

After some time, you can learn once again.

Alright, thanks. I hate to keep asking questions, but Im in dire need of money.... what's the best way to go about getting some.

Try sell things you find. Or begging! Yeah, that'll work!

Screw others or if that doesn't work the way you want go the "easy way" try to sell everything you find. Herbs etc if that is too hard just think of a profession your character could be and look for a master to teach you. Most provide you the most things and afterwardy you can sell your stuff.

Be careful. The old client won't work forever. Better try again the new one. Likewise you will miss lots of wonderful possibilities and pictures at the old client.

I'm aware of this. However, my computer is too bad to run it.

Illarion newcomer here; After readin the 1st page 2 this topic it says to download the old client version which is abit confusing since when u log on it says log out due to old client or something so I can't use the 'new' client o play the game . someone enlighten me on this pls, bit confused

Basically when running the new client (java), the message 'old client error' pops up.

Basically ignore it and try again.

i have a crappy computer and i can run the new client if i put graphics to reduced, try that
