Into the unknown.

Caelthor walked along the streets of Troll's Bane, his steps being the only source of noise as he continued his stride along the paved road. His gaze was fixed downwards, glaring into the street and on his own feet, not watching the road ahead. He nudged another's shoulder, but didn't stop to reply, he just kept walking. Here he was, having studied books and texts, read about the wonders of magic and thirsting for the more knowledge. He ahd oreviously that day scoured the entire library for information, yet he had found very little there that could soothe his hunger. Later that day his studies had been interupted by a strange man who had suffered a head-wound and been a strange state of both being awake and unconcious. Now he just walked, the man being well again, for the moment. Caelthor's mind was however again distracted by the thoughts of magic and knowledge, his inquistive mind needed to know more and his fingers itched to weave and harness the power of the ancient runes, the power of the gods themselves. He just kept walking, soon turning as he came to the shop where he entered and sat down at a table. He there thought about the events of the day, how he had spent the morning reading, the meeting with the wounded man, and lady Marina of course. He smiled as he thought about her, but soon his bitter face returned as he again realised she was also a talented mage yet he was not. He sighed and leant back on the chair, slowly falling asleep.
