!gm

When using the !gm command, please add a message to go with it. Using !gm on its own sends a blank message to our pager database, and that way we don't know how to solve your problem.

Anybody care to add a translation?

Edit: Verdammt knapp, Arien :)

Describe your problem the best in short words. We know where you are
Problems can be locked in somewhere, player who won't understand the sense of rp, pk and so on.

Stalker.

I never seem to have any problems that require GM assistance, but I appreciate knowing more about how to go about asking for help if it is necessary. Thanks.

Is "im too far away from any town to know how to get back" or "I dont want to walk that far" a good reason to use !gm ;).

What if I rp it? Like afterwards I go into meditation and try calling the gods :P

EDIT: I just remembered that Japtheth let me do that once...but I think its cus i randomly teleported there, not cus i was lazy....

No. We are no guides.
It's not necessary to rp, the !gm call is ooc.

Also, if there's a player not roleplaying or interfering with the atmosphere, feel free to add the number of the character. We prefer the number, as people tend to make mistakes with the character name.

There is a problem with !GM. You just can tell the number in the message when the char is unknown to you. For example, you met a shady char and did !name, because he dont want to give his right name. you than don't see the chars number anymore. if the palyer with that char breaks than a rule, you can't tell a GM the number, or the name of the char. And a GM can't know to whom the !name name belongs.

You also can't give the char a new name, as far as I know, since you don't have the number anymore from him.

I'm pretty sure you can see the number using F12 or some other button, in the new client at least.

I am pretty sure that you cannot in the new client, that is the point. >_>

As a little work arround,

you can open your "names.tbl" in your Character's directory with the editor and look up the number.

If they misbehave pwn them?

Besides, usually if there is an incident going on, and a gm is about, they'll warp straight to you.

did !name, because he dont want to give his right name. you than don't see the chars number anymore
A tip to do from now on (won't be able to do it for already named characters, unfortunately): after typing the name of the char when doing !name, type their number again so you see a name AND number. This way you will also be able to rename using !name if you wan't (I think). I don't know exactly how that command works but it seems like you can rename 'em.

You don't always want that...Some times you may be busy talking to some one and a Gm golem will kidnap you and give you a stern talking to with his gm buddies in the forest with fancy walls added.

Next quest ill be looking in the forest for you all!
