Take ya scaly hands away from my citizen, or ya won't find any calm minute anymore. We will hunt ya two an' show ya how sharp our axes can be!

What is this about lizard bandits? Unless you have names there is very little that you can do, and do not try to imply that all lizards are bandits either.

Give me their names, and their number (how many there are) and I shall do my best to deal with it

Ah, the two Lizards shouting out help from outside the town walls. Luckily i am not as idiotic as to fall for such a poor trick. I can remember their faces quite well, if you find me i might part with this information.

I believe one goes by the name of Spinner, and is mute.
The other to me is unknown.

Aye.
He had attacked me outside of town, looted my things, then attacked me inside of town while no one but a dwarf named Viruk Grandsmelter.
He denies any of these attacks.

The mute lizard? Are you sure about that? Well i know that he is a good fighter, but he does not seem dangerous to me.

I was a bit wounded, Sir Arameh.
The second time around, I had scars enraveled over my body..
Viruk saw the whole thing.

Perhaps the truth will come out eventually... But i hear that a man named William tricked the lizard into unarming himself... and then later the lizard killed him outside of town. This is just what i hear.

Unless they break the laws in the town, I think they should still be allowed in... especially if you don't even know their names or what they look like.

While trying to buy coal form Jeanette, 6 silver coins slipped out of my hand and landed on the other side of Eliza. When I went over to get them back, a lizard who had just walked in, picked them up. I told him they were mine, and he gave 5 of them back. When he said I only had 5 there, I told him there had been 6, and he just ran out of town before I could stop him.

Spinner or whatever your name is, and your partner.. I want to hear your sides of the story. You have broken the laws of the landlings, and that of Zelphia. Repent, return the items to them, and then beg for forgivness to Mother.

Unless you have a good excuse, I suggest you stay well away from us, for our race is trying to get a good name; and you are tainting it.

May you return to Mother's arms

I'm sorry to say that he agreed, and it was an gentleman's duel.
I also had been unarmed.
He had killed me outside, then inside of town, both when I was.
Also, I hold the name of recruit of the guard.

People

Do not go and kill every single lizard outside. This is rascism, and you should be above doing that sort of thing. No-one goes out to hunt orcs, or elves or humans.

Bring them to us alive, and we shall give them trial in front of Mother and the law.

In lizard :

Brothers and sisters, they draw all against our race; try to capture them end of lizard

Brother Selisidour

Scratched as an afterthought [i/]

ANd what did you say about the town guards? For I am a recruit of the town guard, AND a lizard; and I didn't steal or do anything....In fact, I have been on a holy voyage to Mother's temples.

You have misread my signals, Brother Selisidour.
Do not be so quick to judge.
I merely implied that I would never break the law, because I am part of the force that is UPHOLDING the law.

Stop and Think everyone

You landlings have a problem. You have problems identifying lizards. None of you can yet tell the difference between a male and female lizard; and if even something so obvious to our kind can't be seen by your eyes; how do you identify other lizards?

How do you know that it was he who broke the laws and attacked you? How could he even defend himself if he cannot speak! We have enough troubles with your customs, now you pick on a lizard who resembles a bandit, and who can't talk to defend himself.

Make sure you do not strike down the wrong lizard...

Lizard:
A new light has shone on this case, do not kill or attack him yet

Your teachings are useless, Selisidour.
Deaf by ear, mute by mouth, it does not make a difference.
It doesn't take words to attack, it takes a blade.
It is against the Law to attack civilian in Troll's Bane, regardless of your disorders.
This man WILL be taken to court, and he'll have to explain his way there.

Infact, Sir Arameh.
I have a witness.
A dwarf by the name of Viruk Grandsmelter.
From what I know, that must mean something..
This is a case of assault, he had knocked me unconcious.

A peice of paper is pinned here, it is ripped as if it was torn from a differen't place.
Dear people of trollsbane,
I did not attack anyone within your pleasant city and even though I admit to attacking this man I feel well within my bounds. For just yesterday William Greye tricked me into unarmoring and sheathing my weapon before attacking me in what he assured me to be a friendly gentleman's duel. After I stepped back he chased me... laughing. I thought perhaps this was the way he liked to play so today I attacked him, I'll admit it, outside of town. How was I supposed to know he'd turn and leave himself unprotected in my midswing? I do apologize to him but I feel he deserved it.. and shouldn't be aloud to have any weapon larger than a mace until he is prepared to use it.

A curious lizard,
Below a spiral is drawn out quickly.

P.S. I repeat that what the man says about me attacking and stealing from people is false. I have only attacked those who attack my friends and myself.
A spiral is deeply embedded below this.

What he says are lies.
He did lead me outside, but once I had regained conciousness, he had killed me just for pleasure.
He went out laughing.
I was also unarmed and unarmored during the bout.
What evidence does he have to back up his writings?

Signed,
Sir William Greye

I do not like the way you twist words human... I admit perhaps I was in the wrong attacking you but I am not sorry.. you are a liar and an unhonorable man. I did not attack you in any town... with any dwarf.. or more than once... Because of your unforgivably rash words I am now hunted for things I have not committed or just because I look like another... I pray that you will take it in your vile heart to leave a quiet lizard alone to his quiet ways. If you wish to pash judgement upon me then let us do it one to one... I am sure you are not wounded currently and if you are I can wait... I do not wish to involve all these people... I do not wish to be hated and chased because I am a mute lizard and I espessially don't wish to be in a feud with the honorable folk of this town.

I shall collect parchment so that we may converse more quickly... IN town. I hope you have sense enough to obey the laws you say that I have broken.

Below is a drawing of a spiral.
