As we all (should) know, we have a whose rp did you like thread to compliment on other people's rp. However, this thread is meant for you to analyze your own, basically to say what type of rper you are, your flaws, and what you think your strengths are. Im not gonna say anything about myself for now, unless/until this actually gets some good responses, but feel free to insult me ;).

I think my RP was very rocky my first few days with Devrah and Arynne, but for the most part, I like it now. I think Arynne is the easiest character for me to play... not really sure why, but her RP just comes completely natural to me. Sometimes, when I'm playing Devrah, I have to remember to act bitchy, and stop myself from being polite. I have to admit, though, my RP with Rhiannon is.. eh. She's difficult to play, because I have to portray a believable mix of maturity, innocence, curiosity, and teen angst... Believe me, balance among thise is not so easy. I think I have tendencies to make her a bit too angsty sometimes, but that's been improving as she's gotten older, and I've gotten used to playing her, I hope.

I don't do as many #me's as I should, and once I trained with a two-handed sword.

I tend to use the same #me's for my various characters. I will stop this now.

I don't know about Devrah, but Arynne was good from the start.

My roleplay:

I do too many #me's, and Retlak is too nice for an orc, though i am currently trying to change this ;)

other than that, i think i roleplay an orc quite well, however, when i switch to a human character (rarely), i will always accidently '#me grunts' -_-

You can never have too many #me's. :)

( Unless they are roleplay disruptive. Hopefully, you will know the difference. We can teach you the hard way if you don't. )

my roleplay: very rocky for Lutup Kraknay, especially at his death (apologiesto the Illarion community for hining about his death), Sunuk Kraknay also kinda sucked so I deleted him, now I'm onto Kahgert, who's a human, and yes, I ealise it sounds like an orc name, but human culture is invredibly varied, my Roleplay only really gets good at actiony points, which I am trying to remedy, I'm also trying to remedy the amount of cliches I use in my RP, at the moment I'd still say I've got a few things to learn before I can RP well.

K now i can talk about myself:

With Ules (main char), I can sometimes do some fairly random #me's, which i get mixed reactions from (some like it, some seem not to), and I sometimes don't detail what I'm doin fairly well. Also, Im not sure how much most people like the fact that he can mind-read anymore (though he arerly does it), sinc ei tend to get bad reactions if i mention it (which i myself think is bad on their part, since Ive talked with several GMs about this ability). I also sometimes forget to roleplay the fact that he has ba dperception.

With my thief char, I tend to make the stealing attempts too avoidant of forced rp (#me attempts to insert his hand into someone's pocket). Other than that I cant think of much else I do wrong with him.

Overall, my roleplay sometimes is a bit.....immature, though Ive been fixing that lately.

I myself have played a mind reader, and i find, if i ask ooc, or leave it open to the player whether they want to share their thoughts or not is up to them.

Ules doesnt hate Silas, though he's sure Silas hates him, just so you know ;). And he's been thinking that soemthing's wrong with him as well.

thats what i do, its usually somethign like:
#me 's eyes begin glowing, as he attempts to enter whoever's mind

((Hey, play along, #me if you resist or not, thats how i tend to do this))

Whoever doesn't offer much resistance, and allows Ules to enter
And then it plays on like that

Im lazy with my me's

And tend to change my roleplay for race not char. for example i play the different races differently, but the characters within the race all tend to be simular.

Oh i always write allways instead of always to bug people.

No you don't you just can't spell. ^^

I think I do a damn good job with my #me's. And I'm having some fun developing new character identities and keeping them all separate. Its so cool. Today I'm proud of me.

I have a hard time creating 'nice' characters. They all end up just like me.

I #me just enough.
But I make really simple #me's.
That bothers me.

I use too less detail.
And I'm too young.

Any text from Sylveria is always yellow: I don't use anything but #me's
But my problem is, I'm always scared that my #me's get too repetitive since I can only use them and not any dialogue. I end up spending a lot of time thinking about different and unique ways to say the same things. I play Illarion with a big thesaurus sitting permanently on the desk beside my computer .

I wonder on the purpose of this thread...

Do you really NEED to tell everyone that you make mistakes? Wouldn't they have noticed already? And if they didn't ...sssh, dont tell anyone

Just my 2 cents

its not meant to say "I suck", it was meant for yuo to analyze yourself. And no one's forcing you to. However...maybe with a few good bribes to Alatar.....;)
