As we have a list of problems, I'm starting a list of machines that the client does run on and maybe what was necessary to get it to run. (E.g. reducing framerate or getting a certain driver) So if you have problems, you might find your machine and the solution in the list.

As the list has grown to quite an impressive size and most modern machines don't have any problems, please post your configuration only if your CPU is less than 1GHz, if it did not run on the first attempt and you had to change something or if you're not running windows.

Information to be entered should include

Ist zwar auch schon wieder etwas älter der Thread hier, aber ich dachte ich geb mal bescheid dass ich den Client nun auch auf Ubuntu/Gnome zum laufen gebracht habe. Hat mich einiges herumgeknorze mit den verschiedenen NVIDIA-Treibern und den Optionen (im Client) gekostet, deshalb für alle die das planen: Version 1.0-7667 und Farbtiefe 16-bit (Alles darüber wird nicht erkannt!) hat bei mir gut funktioniert....

Die Hardwarespezifikationen sind die selben wie bereits angegeben.

Für Fragen oder informationen stehe ich gerne zur Verfügung...

This thread is a bit older now, but i thought i'd mention that i got the new client to work on Ubuntu/Gnome. I had several problems with the different NVIDIA-Drivers and the Options (in the client), so for all who'd like to do that: Version 1.0-7667 and Colordepth 16-bit (everything over 16-bit wont be recognised!) worked good for me.

Same Hardware as mentioned before, just on another partition...

I once had a wierd mouse problem with an open ICQ window in the background, and I cannot run the client from the offline installation but otherwise everything is alright.

oh, forgot to tell you i got it working on my pc's, no more bluescreen on either one (i told you it worked for one but never said if it did both). I doubt my entry will help but:
