Ok, so. I have tried to download the Java RTE, it went smoothely for a moment, then it said I had to undo something or other called Python, I clicked ok and it undid the changes. But, now everytime I try to install Illarion on the new client, it says Java not available. ..WTF?
Edit: Ok, I got the Java RTE Installed, gotcha. Now when I try the online installation, it says cannot start from source or something,
The offline installation says Java not available.

If you looked over it, which clearly you didn't, the installation goes perfect. Whenever I try to log onto the Java Client, it can't load the same damn resource.

Play on the old client it still works. Looks like an auto-update problem. Make sure firewalls are not blocking javas access to the internet. Try turning off automatic updates. How to turn these off you say? I beleive you have windows XP, heres how:
Start menu > Settings > Control Panel.
Switch to Classic view, option is at the top left.
Double click the Java icon to open the Java Control Panel.
Click the update tab.
Uncheck the automatic update, click ok.
Try to install illarion.
If install fails, uninstall and reinstall java, make sure to turn off auto-updates after installation, maybe even unhook your internet in the process of so no updates can be downloaded.
Try to re-install Illarion.
Doesn't work, I tried my best with what little I know, have a great day.

24 hours, Nop. I doubt someone would be happy when they are without help 24 hours after help was requested.

For 15$ a min you can call me and I"ll look through tons of information online to try to help you any way I can. Otherwise, patience, you don't pay for tech support, and its not like you can't play the game. You can, in fact, still use the old client.

For an insane amount of money, you can buy 24-hour recaction time support from some large companies.
For some money you spend on commercial software you get technical support which ususally has answering times of 2-4 days.
For free - well, you should at least refrain from swearing at the people you demand support from.

Always remember : The staff has to WORK for a living. No staff member is payed for working on illarion. They have real lifes and full time jobs and will most likely be unable to answer from the point they're going to bed until the point they return from work the next day. Now compare time zones.
Anyhow the old client still works for exactly this situation.
I would not have answered this immature cussing, but just closed the topic and treated the error elsewhere banning the guy for enough time to cool down.
Especially since it was an error on his side and he was able to fix it himself.

Well, do you want to share your solution with other players who might face the same problem or do you rather let them go through troubles you have already solved?

Very very wise. Or not ofcourse. It is immature yes, but banning someone for this seems rather useless, to say the least. If this is what the GMs do nowadays.

Do not put the lable: "immaturity" on someone, unless you have looked at yourself.
