Yes, this was part of our marketing.

Concerning Marketing: I placed a screenshot in the english wikipedia article about Illarion.

Speaking of which, that article needs to be improved. A lot.

Inside my desk drawer are four Greenbriar business cards. I'm completely serious, no joke at all. As a side note, there's also a furniture store called Greenbrier not too far from where I live.

Two live references. Just freeeeaky... *shiver*

There's a gated community down the road by Fisherville named Evergreen. =)

Talking about which: The entry here http://www.mpogd.com/games/game.asp?ID=18 could need an update and a few votes. :-)

The client graphics are now at least two generations out of date.

Promo will start as soon as there is the new client (and magic) available.
Alatar wrote:HINWEIS: Magie erst, wenn Übernahme Testserver auf Realserver -> Promotion erst 1-2 Wochen nach dieser Übernahme starten.
Please add all information to that page. The Wikipedia text will be replaced

This is not the only website that has Illarion screenshots which are several clients old, unfortunately. I was browsing lists of MMORPGs earlier this week, and it seems that Illarion is also mentioned on a few more websites than we may have expected.
We need to send out an army of update bots.

I miss that client. Those were the good days :(

You are welcome to develop a server compatible client retro downgrade. We might also attract a few of the more more hardcore MUD people if we had a text-only telnet-based client. Just go ahead and do it, I can give you a current documentation of the server protocol. :-)

Estralis and me have already collected a lot of (external) websites which need an update. As said we will start the marketing two weeks after the new java client became public. So there will be a small time gap to fix bugs until a lot of new players arrive at Illarion.

Those are from a website where you can make the text on the sign say whatever you want. Years old. And yes, they do.

Yeah, its usually like a pack of hyenas, more than any other animal. Try not to generalise us too much, n00b.
