I found this bug yesterday, and I haven't noticed anyone else mentioning it:

My character never failed to make leather shoes when he didn't have the tailoring skill at all, but as soon as he gained 1 point he started failing alot. Doesn't seem right.

no , thats right , you can make shoes to learn first at all the leather gloves
when you learned the leather gloves , it will failed all the time when your
skill is to low...

I can't make gloves yet. I only gained the minimum skill that gives me the "tailoring" in skill menu.
The same basic leather shoes are failing now, and they never did before when I had zero skill.

you can make shoes , that you get the skill...
when you had the skill , you need more train that it works

I think Sancho's saying it doesn't make much sense that he can make shoes until he gains skill, after which he can barely make them.

Anyhow. Is this bug repeatable by anyone?

...it's what I understood from the start, I wonder why Kerigan van Ildoran didn't see that yet

Because he is not natively english.

Thoiis bug also happens in cooking; there is a miniscule chance of failing.... maybe less than a 5% chance.

And YES i do have the same 'problem' with tailoring.
