Hmm... I want to know; some people get a year older every 3 months. Others every year. Which is correct.
P.S. Due to an argument that came up in Illarion and seems to pop up rl as well; when does someone become ur girlfriend or boyfriend. I personally think "Will you go out with me" "Yes"; boyfriend and girlfriend.
Help me. I need answers! hehe

Actually, the time factor is 3. So every 4 months is correct.

Don't forget that the dwarves define their year in another way. A dwarven year is much longer than a human year as it is a dwarven day. The dwarven day and year does not orientate on the sun (bah! That yellow blob in the sky!). Ask good ol' PO Tialdin for details.

I have always used that the time was 4x faster, so 3 months is a year, most peoples use that.

The built-in time factor is definitely 3 days IG to 1 day RL.
The new client will feature an IG clock and calendar. So the server will tell all of you what how time passes.

Argh...I cant wait. Will it be possible to actually see differences between day and night? Or difference between seasons?

There was some confusion with the time system. Some times ago there was planed a 6x system but the days where to short with that system. Than we came up with the 3x or 4x system so the days where long enough for good RP. But as far as i know we decided for the 4x system because every time zone can play one one RL day one night and one day cycle IG. But something happened and now we have the 3x System. As far as i know the actually and officially is the 3x system.
