Fail cutting a branch?

i was wondering how it is possible to fail to cut a cherry tree branch off?

to me it makes no sense but if someone has a good reason please say here. :D

I'd just take it that a newbie takes longer to saw than experienced...branch...cutting..guys. Just take the fail as it taking more time.

As I said, just take the 'fail' as cutting the branch taking a while.

cutting cherry trees is carpentry, not lumberjacking. cutting cherry trees also raise your carpentry skill in the beginning.

I have to protest against this.. really

Most orders for handles come in groups of 50 or 30 or so.. its hard enough as it is, CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK

I wouldn't mind having to try 10 tiems [saw and attempt] to make an item, if i knew i would get a good amount of coin for it, but for handles.. i disagree

So, IF you'd get a fair price for the handles, you'd have no problem with failing, right? This might come, soon.

Anyway, do you need more clicks now than before?! I don't think so...

Still, it's a little...odd.

About as relevant as "beware of my puppy kicking skills! If you don't have the skill to kick a puppy swiftly, you'll miss and lose the opportunity to injure it!"

Ok think of it this way: You suck at sawing, so you push on the branch while your sawing and it splites into two peices because branches are greenwood and greenwood tends to be very stringy which is why it well, doesn't snap crisply like a dead and dry twig. The bonds between wood fibers in greenwood is very weak, which is why you dry wood to make it harder.

Suggestion: if 1 branch can be used to make a staff for an elf... could it be used to make 5 handles instead of 1? or 2 long handles?

The problem is the following one:

It is no problem to make smelting and cutting branches unfailable.
But, and here comes the problem, then some items, are unfailable in making to. Nails for example and simple handles as far as i know.
