Friend and citizens I hereby announce that I am stepping down from my position as guard captain and as such overseer of town. It has been a mixed term of service filled with both sorrow and joy yet at its close we as a people have survived we have prospered.
I leave you in the most capable hands of Derek Corydon who I appoint as my successor but more importantly I leave you in the hands of each other. The walls of Trollsbane have never stood on ones mans efforts but the combined blood and sweat of each of us. It has been an honor to serve you all and serve next to the brave men and women of the guard. I shall not disappear both my heart and sword remains ready to serve the town as it always has been.
Guards who have chosen to remain should report to Derek from now on, I once again thank you all for honoring me in service.
It is a time of rebirth a rebuilding we have all seen and survived much let us grasp this chance make most of it.

Greeting fellow citizens of the great city of Trollsbane,
As announced by the highly regarded, Pendar Fayed, I Derek Corydon am being appointed as the new Overseer of Trollsbane, and Captian of the city guard. It is a great honour for me be able to accept such a position, and I promise to continue my commitment to serve the city of Trollsbane, in my new position.

My first order of business will be to surround myself with others, who like myself, share a firm commitment to our city. I will be approaching some indivituals regarding this matter, but i do not want to overlook any valuable resources i may have missed. If you feel you can be of service to the city of Trollsbane, please feel free to contact me personally, or by dove, and if you are reputable, and have good motives, you will be seriously considered.

Secondly, there are several opening for recruit positions in the city guard. Anyone who feels they are up for a challenge, are of good character, and would like some adventure, please see myself or indicate your desire at the town guard wall. Other than that, we are still accepting citizenship to our great city of Trollsbane.
