Hello, my name is MaleStrOm, I love fantasy books, DnD, warhammer mmorpgs and rpg online games. I just wanted to say hi to everyone and i hope i get accepted into Illarion.

So now that I introduced myself, I would like to meet some people and mabye make some friends in-game.

So, since im new to this game, are their any personal tips or experiences?

be sure to read all the rules, and I mean all the rules before you start to play. you will need to know them since they're easy to break, unlike runescape where the rules are do not hack the game and no racist comments and stuff like that. if you play this game like runescape, you'll break alot of rules

Don't take it personal, some characters will like yours, some won't. Its not you its your character, if your character is an orc expect to be called smelly. In the case of an elf/longear, dwarf/stumpy, halfling/child, human/oomie. Try to be the character you imagine and not yourself, thats part of the fun of this particular game.

I dont really like runescape, and besides I play DnD and I am really good at imagining things and acting like my character. I also read R.A. Salvatore books and that brings up my hopes. I always love roleplaying Thanks for the advice though.

we must be the nerdiest people in the world, but this game is so fun! it's the only game online I know of that is real roleplay

Its one out of two that i know!
But the other one costs 29.95 per month now that it's out of beta

lol, yea we are kinda nerdie with these role-playing, but hey who cares, its fun and `its cool Especially DnD where you can do anything.

Does anyone here read Forgotten Realms Books? I've started reading the whole "Drizzt Saga" and im on Paths Of Darkness (2nd last Trilogy to the collection) I find R.A. Salvatore as a better write than Tolkien

tolkien is the author of lord of the rings and etc. R.A.Salvatore is the author of the Icewind Dale Trilogy, with Drizzt(Drow Renegade) and etc.
