Blue steel greaves or long trousers?

I recently noticed that blue steel greaves have become long trousers if you click on them.
My question is do they still have there correct armor value? I only ask as wearing long pants thinking they are greaves would be nasty

As long as they have the correct "stats" what they are called is not so important.
How ever I had some 20 small healing potions saved now i notice they are just called bottles and dont work. I am concerned the greaves have become something else as well.
