The voting

After long discussion between the ones listed below, there has come an agreement between the two opposing party within Vanima. There shall be a new vote for elders, for it is clear that the old elders no longer suffice.

From now, till a week from now, anyone can put forth an elder to vote upon. THe voting itself will take place after that. For someone to become an official candidate, he/she must have 3 nominations. The ones that were already decided upon are:
  • Alaine Milan
    Isilwen Anrion
    Misjilah Mehialho
    Moathia Nethiala
    Shandariel el Lysanthrai
    Thalodos Artemetus
More shall be decided upon this week mayhap.

Also, I wish to issue my apologies for my "attempt". It was not essentially wrong, because it was more a call for change, but it could have been more considerate of the traditions which have been followed since we have been brought to life by the gods themselves. I apologise.
The new elders that will be decided upon, can also be asked to step away from eldership, once there is a general feeling they no longer actively contribute to elven prosperity.

By the courtesy of,

Misjilah Mehialho
Thalodos Artemetus
Moathia Nethiala
Shandariel el Lysanthrai

THis is not for voting yet. You can put forth elders this week, the actual voting will be next week. Please keep this in mind.

What about elder Damien? Can he be voted again? For he seemed capable as it seems.

He can be voted or of course. Whether he wishes to be legible for voting is up to him.

I approve my nomination, and I thank the ones who have so much trust in my person. I am honored and overhelmed. Thank you much

Elder Damien agreed to support and help the new elders whenever necessary. He did these duties for a long time, but has not offered to participate in this election as possible candidate. The calculated chances that he does not want to get elected again are considered to be above ninety per cent.

This parchment is not signed, and the handwriting looks elven, though it is not recognizable. The writer seems not to write often or may even have used the wrong hand, since the letters look a little clumsy.

Gradual change is good, sudden drastic change is very bad.
Therefore I would humbly suggest that all the current elders are automatically counted as nominees, IF they wish to participate.

Jeremy, I believe that each of the elders was asked if they would like to remain a nominee, and only Moathia agreed to it.

I second Alaine's nomination. She is very sweet and kind, and I feel that she would be an objective and fair elder.

Recent silence has lead me to believe there are no longer being elders nominated. Shall we move on with the voting, or does anyone think the chance of people still nominating new elders is high?
