We are all living for so long now on this island, but we never gave the town a name!
I think we should do that now!
After we found a proper name we can make a party and babtize the citiy official.
So search your brains for good names and write them down!!!

But there's something I would like to add. Remember the map? This island we are living on is elven and gnome territory. Please remember this when choosing the name. I think a human's town name should sound a bit different to a gnome's town name, right?

yes, it sould. and noltaris sounds imho very elfish. but shit, i think i have read this name somewhere...

hmm...in case we refer to nanuk's map I think there is already a town name..(I'm not sure...)
But on this map there are plenty of towns - each a different startig point. We have only one now...so I see no reason to give the town an elfish name. We dont know if this town will still exist in a final version of Illarion...

We have many suggestions now! So lets go and choose a name!!

And normally the names on the map are the maps of the regions I thought.

But it would be possible to call this town after the region ... so there are two names

Duglosh (gnome territory) - southeast of the town
Faenahin (fairy territory) - northwest of the town

I especially like Faenahin, also as a town name!

We do not even have fairys at the moment!!!!
So many things will change until the final version is ready! So dont care about a simple town name. Possibly all the houses wont be there they are now!
I also heard the map will change in size...
My opinion is we have to deal with the present and not with the future!
And present is, that it isnt a fairy or elvish town, but a town for everybody.
Perhaps it might be possible to take over the name in later verisons ... we will see..
If it really will be the fairy-town someday..it will probably not the town we know now (were the fluffy sheep bar or the bib is located in...)
There wont be that much players having a fairy charakter...(i think..)

Okay, now being serious.
Since this island may completely change its surface and perhaps size (i think so, it did several times before), we should use perhaps a temporal name now. So let's give it one that sounds temporal.
People, when there is an ability to leave the island, who will stay there forever ? Not many i guess. So let us choose a name that is, and sounds, temporal.
