I just simply dont understand the trading in this game. I hold shift + left click on the blacksmith and nothing happens, can anyone please show/tell me how trading works, and yes, I did read the manual.

NPCs are reacting to spoken commands now.
There are several topics floating arround this board that cover some guidelines and help how to speak to them.

Mnay thanks, I tried that too though. I said " Hello " Then he said something about selling his stuff, then I said " Yes " and there was no response.

That guide helped me a lot, but how do I know if an NPC has the item i'm looking for. The old manual said something about the NPC listing all his items.
EDIT: Whoops, guide says that too, I just click list your wares. Well many thanks!

One more thing... I bought a long axe and equipped it, how come it does not show in my hand?

Because you didn't equip it. To 'equip' something you have to put it in the correct spot on your paper doll. That means you have to drag and drop the axe into an empty hand. Long axe? Better make sure both your hands are empty first. ;]

Also, this topic really should be in the newbie section for reference purposes in the future for other people with this problem
