((OOC: THis board is written ALL in elvish (unless stated otherwise) so do not read it unless you'r an elf.. ok?))
It has been said that we elves have lost our nobility, and are degrading furthur. I even note that my brothers argue amoungst themselves, and even wear drow armor or use drow swords. Time for a change
Time to silence all those who call the elves inferior, but not through violence, rules will be set, which we should obey, to honour our fathers. Also we will learn to fight the way they did, to protect us from enemies, and we shall respect ourselves and each of our brother.
RUles will be added later. Who's with me?
Eliron Sharid
(All that matters is that I'm an elf)

<Temporary set of rules by the Council. May be adding or taking from the rules as well.>
1) Obey the rules set forth by the Council.
2) No Drow weaponry or armours will be bought, sold, or used.
3) Wear a green cloak or green sash at all times. It is a sign that you are a member of the guild.
4) Speak elvish to your brothers, respect the language your fathers created.
5) Respect and Praise the 5. Pray to them daily.
6) Learn the elven bow, and the elven staff. For our fathers have trained enough that they are known by their names.

I will not become part of this group, but I will follow most of the guidelines in order to give our race a more noble appeal. I will not wear drow armor or wield drow weapons, I will speak to my brethren in elvish and I will pray to the 5 daily.

Honorable deeds, my brethren, although no elf should need rules to behave. Keep in mind that pride is always the first step to doom.

My Brother Damien;
Isn't it clear that our brothers need a sort of direction to follow? we elves have our pride, and we have not fallen to it yet. Elves curse and fight other elves, uproot trees to help humans build stone upon them. I am solely trying to fix that which is damaged.
Eliron Sharid
Dear Fishnu;
What do you expect this guild will do for you? Our doors will always be welcome, and should you wish to continue our father's legacy and study the bow and the staff, I will supply both free of charge

Eliron,
I would like to obtain a bow and a quantity of arrows from you,
send a dove of a good time and place to meet.

Dear Sjerin, I do not know where I will be, for i have heard that the town is under attack by undead, and i do not wish to join my family's souls just yet.
The bow I will make for you as soon as possible, as for arrows; if you can get me enough thread, I will be able to make them.

To the Elders: I wish your blessing in this enterprise, there is a space left in the council, and I wish an elder to fill it if possible. Could you please give me word?

I think you missunderstandig some basic points. Vanima, our hole comunity, the elders, are founded to protect the old traditions, to awake the ancident spirits. There is no needing of such a concil.

I have seen many arguments upon your walls; this does not show tradition. ALso i have seen many elves who fight amougst themselves, this shows the need for such a group. The council seeks only to create small rules where the Elders have overlooked, also I am seeking to supply traditional weapons to those who wish it.
It may be also said that elves wearing drow armor should be exiled from Vanima? There is need for stricter rules; yet less strict punishment.
If this group is useless as you suggest, it will become, when all the elves follow their fathers' footsteps.
The offer for your ideas of reforms and a space in the small council still remains
I remain always

Your eyes look to a to short part of time. If you see the situation now, dont judge about they without looking into the past, the past for Vanima. Than you will see that great steps are gone, and there will be gone many more steps, but not form now to tomorrow and not with something like rules.
Rules are now part of our old traditions, and you cant bring the old traditions back, with useing the ways out of traditon.
You only must have more patience, the waye to the old tradions will be gone, but we will not fly.

The fact that many of my brothers are supporting this group shows that there is need for it, I will do my best to aid my brothers who need it. My offers for the bows and weapons go out to all elves, not only the ones that join, but the ones that can be trusted.
I am young for an elf, and I have many ideals, yet I don't know most of our past, for this I wish an elder to join us. I will walk hand-in-hand with Vanima... I will not go against its wishes. But since I do good, I will not disband here.

Rules, councils, weapons - that is the way to bring the old traditions?
In one point i agree with you my friend, you are very young and you doesnt know much about our past. I have aadvice for you: Befor you wand to teach someone, learn waht you wand to teach.

The reason they are called elven composite bows is because our fathers used them to a high degree. As for the rules, they are more guidlines of how to respect our culture. We will not hunt the innocent, just ready to protect the ones in need; maybe the Tinechor's next members could come from here.
As for the council, it is simple showing democracy, instead of being like other races where one person speaks and the others obey; it is for this reason I seek and Elder to guide us.

Dear Elders,
You say there is no need for it, so let me try an experiment. I will search for a few elves at random, and ask them simple questions which all elves should know...
Should you wish to send a representative to prove i have no given false results, feel free.
The result of this will determine whether there is need for it or not.

The elders where not chosen through democracy. They just were. In an elven society there is no democracy. It serves logic that those most capable ones are appointed, not through vote, but through logic.
You and your group are mislead Eliron. If you wish to discuss with me why, please send me a letter so we can set up a meeting. I think I can elaborate quite a few things for you.

Misjilah,
If you have an idea, and nobody will listen to you; what can you do? Nothing, just live life and stay silent. Democracy gives all a symbol of equality, and their voice is heard. It is true that the elders are already doing this, I am just taking one step furthur.
I will not argue with you, it is a sad day when two elves fight over something so trivial. I had enough problems with the elf Misjbar when he started his cult; no more shall I argue angrily with my brothers and sisters.

As far as I can see, your group consists of four people, and you are the only member of Vanima Eliron. Also all four members are in the council.

Very observant, it shows that only the elves which aren't in Vanima need this group, so I am taking care of that which the elders do not. Since there is space for 5 people in the council, the first 5 will be in.
I will try the experiment later on this day.
I wonder why the members haven't joined Vanima...
Eliron Sharid
PS: I am nigh on disbanding this group, thank you for opening my eyes.

To join Vanima you must first ask, they have not done so. You are taking care of the people who do not wish to live with their fellows.
Moathia

If that is the case, then I shall close this group..
Also the results of my experiment so far were few... I asked 3 elves, 2 males one female 3 simple questions:
Who are the 5?
Name 2 of them
Name 1 of the Elders of Vanima
The first question 2/3 got it right
Yet the second and 3rd, only one person got both of them right.
This shows that there is need to educate all elves on the basics.
