Monster Strength - Training and skill gain

Hello,
I have been very succesful in training so far. I have gotten as high as I can go for now.
My complaint is this.
To train a higher skill you have to fight harder monsters.
To gain skill you must take damage.
The harder monsters can not hit me unless I let them, however to gain more skill I must let them. However I must use alot of strategy to get only 1 monster attacking me and even then.. they do so much damage it is impossible to train due to the fact that I will die.
I have tried so many combonations.. but there is none since I am a high skill and they are hard hitters. There is no combo to where they only hit me once every few tries.. they either hit me everytime or they don't hit me.
This causes the inability to raise stats any higher.
Bror I suggest lower thier damage slightly or give them alittle more hit ratio "I speak of red skeletons and demon"
but it would be very hard to judge it so at high levels he won't just kill and he also won't not hit......
Also spiders beholders and Rottworm... I can take them with two shields... but with them around it is impossible to train due to the amount of damage and the quickness they do. And if you protect yourself against them than you can not be hit by other things..
It is a problem I think so what can be done? Anyone sugegst something reasonable?
