How should i begin my career as a smith or miner? I just began.

The first thing you need is a tool for mining. Ask ingame around who sells one. After that take it and try different Rocks to look what you can find inside.

where would i go to ask... what town and would i ask npc or real people?

Most people you can find in Trolls Bane. You can ask both. But to find the right NPC could be much more difficult. Ask other Player would be an good idea.

does anyone know how to get some money if you don't have enough money to buy tools to get a job that makes money, in other words, I can't afford anything.

Try to gather raw materials. There are many people who would buy them.
As you should have at least some tools like pickaxe, axe or saw right from the start, you can gather lumber, coal, ore or simply fruits or herbs. Just ask around who needs basic stuff. They surely will give you some coins for your work

nope, I've got no tools whatsoever.

Well, usually every newcomer gets a tool of his trade and enough coin to buy a few tools.

But anyway:
You can try to find someone who will give you a job and the tools to do it. Most smiths will happily give you a pickaxe if you mine for them.

Or, there is a halfling in Greenbriar who used to buy herbs and mushrooms that you can gather just with your hands.

Most new players have no idea where to buy tools from. It took me a while to learn about the Silverbrand tool seller in front of the entrance, or Sam.

And you only get a hatchet for a craftsman tool, if that (cant remember for sure now)
